What kind of data is usually required from a customer in order to solve issues regarding a license server? |

When analyzing license server problems, the following things are always needed: 1. The license key of the license that does not work. 2. The OS of the license server machine. 3. Is the license server running on a virtual machine? 4. The Host IDs of the server machine where the license server is installed. 5. The log file of the license server. 6. The configuration file of the license server.
Note: The default install directory of the license server is something like this: C:\Program Files\X-Formation\LM-X End-user Tools 4.8.4 x64
Host IDs: The Host IDs can be found in two ways: The first way: 1. Open the license server client. 2. Go to the tab "Host IDs" 3. Click the "Save" button. The second way: 1. Go to the install directory of the license server (see above) 2. Run the program lmxconfigtool.exe by double clicking it. 3. In the program, go to the tab "HostID" 4. Click the "Save To File" button.
